In the 2019 Hype-Scale Report, Gartner stated aptly that for enterprises using the cloud “the focus is now on how to do it well versus on whether to do it at all.” Migrating to the cloud is crucial to staying competitive, so it may come as no surprise that cloud cost optimization comes as the top priority in 2019 for IT leaders.
