Ntirety Sales Soar as Corporations Cut Budgets, Seek Savings
DEDHAM, Mass. (November 18, 2008) – Ntirety Inc., a pioneer in remote database administration, set a company sales record in the third quarter as corporate customers looked for ways to do more with less money. Ntirety provides expert, always-on database monitoring and maintenance for a fraction of the cost of in-house resources, making it an attractive option for IT executives squeezed by budget cuts.
"Ntirety offers managers a proven way to cut costs and still achieve their IT initiatives. Our customers can focus on their core business while Ntirety's team of expert database administrators take care of maintaining and monitoring their databases," said Michael Corey, CEO and founder of Ntirety. "Remote database administration was a foreign concept to some companies, but faced with difficult budget cuts, they are opening their minds to a new way to do a lot more with a lot less."
Third-quarter client growth more than doubled compared to the same period last year, as Ntirety added 17 new accounts between July 1 and September 30. The new customers span multiple industries, including technology, health care and services, retail, financial services and manufacturing.
Every Ntirety customer is assigned a team of database administrators who remotely and securely monitor, maintain and upgrade databases at a significant cost savings. Ntirety employs DBAs expert in both Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases based in the United States, an important consideration for corporations looking to outsource without offshoring services.
The rapid addition of new accounts is expected to translate into long-term growth and success because of Ntirety's near-perfect customer retention and satisfaction scores over the company's seven-year history. Ntirety has retained more than 95 percent of its customers in its seven years, and in the 2008 customer satisfaction survey, Ntirety earned an average ranking of 94.72 percent. In addition, 100 percent of customers said they would recommend Ntirety to a colleague.
Once our customers experience the expertise and level of service we provide, they stick with us because we give them peace of mind that their databases are well taken care of," Corey said. "Ntirety's customers also appreciate the expert service at a fraction of the cost of building an in-house DBA staff."
For example, a year of Ntirety's services for an Oracle database costs about $60,000, compared to the $135,000 average salary and benefits for a single in-house DBA in the Boston area (Source: www.salary.com). Ntirety's dedicated team of DBAs never take a vacation, sick day or holiday, and provide 24x7 coverage when a single DBA provides services during the business day.
In addition, Ntirety's customers save potentially tens, in not hundreds of thousands of dollars by avoiding buying and licensing database software tools. Ntirety utilizes the best of breed database tools for each customer at no additional cost.
"As dark as the economic sky is, there are opportunities out there if you look for them. Cutting costs through remote DBA is one of those opportunities, and if they don't see it, it's because they are looking through the wrong end of the telescope," Corey said.
