Ntirety Adds Expert DBA to Expand MySQL Database Service

DEDHAM, Mass. (June 10, 2009) – Ntirety Inc., the pioneer of Database Administration As a Service®, today announced Michael A. Calisi has joined the company as MySQL Practice Lead, a new position spearheading expansion of Ntirety's services for the open source database.

Over a 20-year career, Calisi has been in-house DBA and database architect for the types of companies that Ntirety seeks as customers, giving him unparalleled insight into the needs and challenges of corporations seeking to improve customer operations while reducing costs. Prior to joining Ntirety, Calisi worked in the Data Warehouse Group at Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Massachusetts. In addition, Calisi was vice president of consulting services at Database Technologies, where he built a highly successful practice delivering Oracle technology solutions to clients.
