DEDHAM, Mass. (June 3, 2009) – Ntirety Inc., the pioneer of Database Administration As a Service®, today announced a highly accomplished sales executive, Andrew Sherman, is its new Vice President of Sales. “We're excited to have someone of Andy's experience and deep knowledge of sales coming on board as we continue to grow our business. The fact Andy was once a customer allows him to share first-hand experiences on how Ntirety can dramatically save companies money while actually improving the performance of their databases,” said Michael Corey, CEO and founder of Ntirety, www.ntirety.com. Prior to joining Ntirety, Sherman was a satisfied customer. As President and CEO of CenterStone Software, a SaaS enterprise application company, Sherman hired Ntirety to maintain and monitor mission-critical databases. When his staff presented him with the advantages of freeing up employees to focus on their product while ensuring database performance for a low, fixed, monthly fee, he was sold. “Ntirety offers a great service to companies who rely on mission-critical databases, but need to reduce costs, increase reliability, and reduce staff burnout. I look forward to helping our customers find a cost-effective solution to a critical problem by introducing them to Ntirety's sector-leading service,” said Sherman. Aside from CenterStone, Sherman was the first Vice President of Sales at start-up NaviSite, a managed services and hosting company where he led revenue growth to over $100 million in four years. He also served as VP of Sales at Fulcrum Technologies and Nellymoser, as well as holding senior sales management positions at Sybase/Powersoft and Apple Computer, where he was named “District Manager of the Year” two years running. A graduate of Dartmouth College, Sherman and his wife, Thyra, live in Andover, Massachusetts, and have three children. Outside of work, Sherman is on the Board of Directors for the Merrimack Valley Habitat for Humanity and competes in cross-country mountain bike races throughout New England.
