RDBA Service Options
Recognizing that not all customers are the same, Ntirety has developed a flexible set of options to tailor your Database Services to the exact level that you need.
Staffing Levels: Both the Optimize and Manage levels of service have two delivery options: Full Outsource or Augmentation. A client can consider Full DBA Outsourcing as an option to hiring a DBA, or an additional DBA. Outsourcing specific databases or the entire database environment to Ntirety ensures guaranteed service delivery and standards for comprehensive primary database administration. On the other hand, Database Augmentation services enables clients who have in-house DBAs or DBA expertise to offload certain tasks from your existing staff: routine production/maintenance operations or after-hours support, for example.
Database Performance Management Service. Ntirety can provide a service based on a sophisticated software suite to monitor and track database performance on an ongoing basis. This Database Performance Warehouse Service, deployed on the Ntirety Ntrust Appliance, works with SQL Server, Oracle and MySQL and provides extensive reporting and data drill-down capabilities against the Performance Warehouse.
Oracle E-Business Suite. Ntirety supports a number of Oracle E-Business Suite users, organizations that need this complex environment supported but that cannot justify the high cost of a full-time Oracle Apps DBA (or DBAs). Ntirety’s Oracle Remote Database Administration as a Service for Oracle E-Business Suite offers specialized monitoring, management and optimization of the environment through a cost-effective service.
Oracle RAC. Because of the inherent complexity of the environment, DBAs managing Oracle RAC need the usual complement of production DBA skills, strong clustering knowledge and a broader understanding of the IT landscape, including storage, networking and operating systems. Ntirety provides all of these skills in a managed service or on a consulting basis.
Production vs. Dev/Test. Recognizing that the requirements to support a Production database are different than those to support a Dev/Test database, Ntirety tailors services specifically to both.
Service Window. Ntirety offers services in two primary windows: Business Days (5x12) or round-the-clock (7x24).
