Senior Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator

As a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator at Ntirety you should be well versed in database design practices from normalization through performance tuning and implementation. You will be responsible for completing the architectural design for database development through specification, design, development, QA testing, and product launch. You should also have strong NT experience.

Education:

• BS/MS CS or proven equivalent curriculum

Requirements:

• SQL server with minimum 5 years experience
• Database security and user account management
• Abilty to Perform Database Audits
• Implementing backup and recovery processes
• Installation and configuration of Oracle database
• Prior experience in packaging/installation/upgrade of Oracle
• Database/SQL Performance Tuning
• Team player with ability to multitask with minimal supervision and high reliability
• Strong drive to learn
• "Problem Solving" attitude
• Excellent oral/written communication skills

Desired:

• At least 5+ years professional experience in the Consulting industry with expertise in Technical Architecture
• Finding and creating design strategies to meet overall system requirements for performance, data integrity, component interface, application interfacing, etc
• Strong knowledge and experience on development methodologies and project life cycle, preferably with web application technologies
• Strong interpersonal skills and technical presentation skills
• Passion for learning and applying evolving technologies
• Strong customer focus; ability to focus on the client s requirements and exceed expectations
• Hands-on knowledge of web application development focused on thin-client architectures and solutions
• Familiarity with data warehouse technology
• Technical experience: RDBMS Databases: Oracle, MS SQL Server
• Programming Languages: Java, C++, Visual Basic, Perl, SQL
• Designand Modeling: Object Oriented Development, CORBA, J2EEArchitecture (EJB, Servlets, JSP)
• Others: XML, HTML,CSS, JavaScript, DHTML
• Operating Systems: Unix, NT, Win 2000
• Application Servers: Working knowledge of one commercial web server and J2EE compliant server
