Michael Corey

Michael Corey, an entrepreneur, author and recognized expert on Relational Databases, Remote Database Administration and Data Warehousing, founded Ntirety Technologies the Remote DBA Specialist in April 2001. As Chief Executive Officer, Michael Corey leverages his extensive experience and business savvy to manage and expand Ntirety into the premier Remote DBA, Remote Database Administration Services firm in the United States.

Prior to Ntirety, Michael Corey founded Database Technologies (DBT), the first consulting company on the East Coast to specialize in Oracle and other relational databases. Under his direction, Database Technologies experienced triple-digit growth and in 1997, was recognized by Deloitte & Touche, and Hale and Dorr as the fastest growing, technology company in New England and the 51st fastest growing technology company in the United States.

Dr. Edward P. Marram, Ph.D

Dr. Edward P. Marram is currently both Director of the Arthur M. Blank Center for Entrepreneurship and Director of Global Entrepreneurship Programs at Babson College.

Dr. Marram founded Geo-Centers, Inc., a high technology professional services firm, where he served as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board until its sale to SAIC, Inc. in 2005. Dr. Marram has been an active entrepreneur in high growth technologies for over 35 years. At the time of the sale, Geo-Centers had more than 1200 employees serving clients in multiple locations around the United States and overseas. The Company excelled in a number of critical technological areas including biomedical research, toxicology, environmental remediation, technology transfer, human factors, and defense and civilian scientific policy. Geo-Centers was twice been recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing, privately held companies in the United States.

Dr. Marram has developed a reputation for outstanding technical and academic accomplishments during more than thirty-five years of scientific, industrial and academic experience. In 1999 and 2000 he was appointed to the National Defense Science Board, which deals with strategic planning for our nation's defense. In addition to his professional activities, Dr. Marram has been Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Babson College since 1989 as well as Adjunct Professor at INSEAD in France and Flanders Business School in Belgium. He regularly lectures on entrepreneurship and issues of high growth companies in both graduate level and executive education programs.

Dr. Marram has served as a member of both public and private boards. He was a member of the Health and Educational Financial Authority (HEFA) of Massachusetts and the MIH, a not-for-profit board. He serves on the College Advisory Council, College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and the Chemistry Advisory Group at Tufts University. He is a member of NACD and has served on the boards of several privately held companies.

Dr. Marram was named a Price Babson College Fellow and received the Edwin M. Appel Prize for Bringing Entrepreneurial Vitality to Academia. He holds B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Physics and Chemistry.

Jack Derby

Jack Derby is the Founder and CEO of Derby Management. Derby Management Service include Senior Management Coaching Services, Fundraising (Venture, Private Equity & Debt), Sales Planning and Management to Turnaround Management.

Prior to forming Derby Management in 1990, Jack's background included positions as CEO of Mayer Electronics Corporation, President of CB Sports, President of Litton Industries Medical Systems, CEO of Datamedix Corporation and President of Becton Dickinson Medical Systems.

Jack has been named to Mass High Tech's All Star Team. He is often quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald and has published articles and editorials in The Boston Business Journal and Mass High Tech. He is frequent speaker at numerous business organizations including the MIT Enterprise Forum, the Small Business Association of New England, the Harvard Business School, and the WPI Venture Forum. He is also a guest lecturer at MIT where he teaches classes in writing business planning for undergraduate students and for the MIT-Singapore University Program.

Jack is extremely active in the New England entrepreneurial community. He is currently and has been an active board member in a number of emerging companies. He was instrumental in restructuring the Board of the MIT Enterprise Forum (www.mitforum-cambridge.org) where he has held the position of Chairman of the Forum. Additionally, he has been the Vice Chair of the Smaller Business Association of New England (www.sbane.org). During 2004, Jack was the recipient of SBANE's Pro Bono Publico Award for his significant contributions to the entrepreneurial community. Jack has also been a Director of MIT's Technology Capital Network (www.tcnmit.org), and the President of the University Club of Boston (www.uclub.org). Currently, he is Chairman of the Association for Corporate Growth (www.acgboston.org).

Peter Cowie

Peter is a veteran in the technology business and a proven leader in building successful companies. In addition to his role with CBE Technologies, Pete serves as chairman of Blacksmith Applications, Inc. in Lawrence, MA, a Director of Brand Muscle in Cleveland, Numerous other boards and is the current chairman of the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE, New England). The NFTE organization is committed to teaching entrepreneurship to under- privileged young people so they can become productive members of society by improving their academic, business, and technical skills.

In 2000, he co-founded Reach, the Boston based venture fund that provides many companies seed funding. Prior to Reach, Pete founded Charter Systems, an enterprise IT network service provider. In 1997, he oversaw the merger of Charter with The BISYS Group (NYSE: BSG), where he served as President through January, 1999. Pete has served in an advisory capacity for Microsoft, Novell, and Cisco Systems.

Nicholas Pappas

Nicholas Pappas is a Principal at the Massachusetts Technology Development Corporation (MTDC).  Nick has been working with early-stage technology companies for over 10 years, advising management teams and boards of directors on market expansion, capital raising and merger and acquisition strategies. Mr. Pappas joined MTDC in 2009 and is responsible for identifying investment opportunities and working closely with MTDC portfolio companies. Mr. Pappas currently manages MTDC's investments in Ntirety and Courion.

Prior to joining MTDC, Mr. Pappas was a senior technology investment banker with Oppenheimer & Co., SVB Alliant, and Canaccord Adams (formerly Adams Harkness) both in Silicon Valley and Boston. Mr. Pappas holds an MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The University of Richmond.
